These opportunities are for entry level roles in the Client Account Services Team where you will maintain the quality and integrity of information by accurately recording client details and interactions. You will be responsible for managing the input of data such as client correspondence into internal systems and including the sorting, scanning and opening of mail. Successful candidates will be required to work anytime between the hours of 7am – 11pm, Monday – Friday.

Step 1 of the application process

Make sure you have your 2 documents ready before you begin:

  1. Evidence of a positive autism, ASD or Asperger’s Syndrome diagnosis. Evidence could be a diagnostic assessment or a letter from a treating medical practitioner.
  2. Proof of Australian Citizenship. Accepted documents are one of the following:
    • Australian Birth Certificate
    • Current Australian Passport, or
    • Certificate of Australian Citizenship

Step 2 of application process

While we verify your documentation, you can get a few more things ready to help with your application:

A letter of application, CV or resume OR a document of any format that lets us know about any experience (paid or unpaid). Interests and skills you have related to the roles is OK.

Step 3 of the application process

Once we’ve reviewed and verified your documentation, you’ll be sent a link and asked to complete an online application. Please keep an eye on your email folders.

Using the link provided, complete the online application. Once you have completed the application, you will then have the opportunity to upload any supporting documents such as a CV, cover letter or other documents and fill out details about your skills.

Please note: Applications are open for individuals who are on the autism spectrum and have Australian citizenship. Any individuals without a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, PDD-NOS, or Autistic Disorder and do not have proof of Australian citizenship are not eligible to apply.

Stage 1 of the selection process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a one-day preselection workshop online.
  • The workshop will be held on Monday 15 June between 10am and 4pm.  (Please note this pre-selection workshop will be delivered virtually in response to COVID-19)
  • You will need internet and a computer with a webcam and mic to participate online.
  • All applicants who complete the workshops will be contacted and advised of the outcome of the workshops before 5pm on Tuesday 16 June 2020.

Stage 2 of the selection process

  • Selected candidates will be invited to complete a 7 day training and assessment program online.  (This may be delivered completely online in response to COVID 19)
  • The training and assessment program will begin on Wednesday 17 June concluding Thursday 25 of June 2020.
  • All attendees of the training and assessment program will be advised of the outcome of their application on Tuesday 30 June 2020.

Stage 3 of the selection process

  • Successful candidates will begin work on Monday 6 July.

Applicants at any stage who are not successful will be contacted by a member of the Specialisterne team and put in contact with local employment services.

Applicant requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or over.
  • Must have a diagnosis of autism (including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autistic Disorder, or PDD-NOS)
  • Must have proof of Australian Citizenship from one document below:
    • Australian Birth Certificate
    • Current Australian Passport, or
    • Certificate of Australian Citizenship
  • Will have to satisfy the suitability requirements of the Government Agency and complete Pre-Employment and Australian Government Security Clearances at the end of the selection process
  • Must able to attend a pre-selection workshop between the hours of 10am–4pm on: Monday 15 June through virtual delivery.
  • Must be able to attend a 7 day assessment online  beginning Wednesday 17 June 2020 and must be able to attend each day (online or in person) of the program.
  • Should live within a daily commutable distance of Albury.

The following skills and experience will be highly regarded, although are not essential for the roles:

  • Experience working in a Windows based environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong typing and accuracy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
